Riflessioni e analisi sul tema dell’eguaglianza delle condizioni ne La democrazia in America di Alexis de Tocqueville

The objective of the following article is to report some considerations elaborated by Tocqueville in his work La democrazia in America. Based on such idea, I am going to dwell on the following points: first of all, I intend to make a brief introduction on the motivations which led the French thinker to make a journey-inquiry in the United States; secondly, I am going to report his thoughts on the issue of equality of conditions, examining some specific issues related to American society and to American political system; finally, I am going to draw the appropriate conclusions on the points on which I have dwelt.
